I welcome adults from diverse backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals whose experiences of themselves and the world may not always fit familiar expectations. Therapy offers a space to explore your difficulties without the pressure to fit a particular mould, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, recognise your needs and find ways of living that feel more authentic to you.
Weekly psychotherapy offers a regular and confidential space where experiences can gradually be explored, understood and worked through over time.
Therapy may support you in exploring:
Sessions are usually 50 minutes in length and take place online or in person in London and Croxley.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, psychotherapy can help bring greater understanding to emotional patterns, relational experiences and ways of coping that may have developed over time.
As this understanding develops, there may also be space to reconnect with parts of yourself that have become overlooked or lost along the way. This can include rediscovering a sense of identity, dignity and self-worth, as well as your capacity for creativity, vitality and enjoyment.
This might involve developing a different relationship with your emotions, finding ways to express what has previously felt difficult to acknowledge, reconnecting with your imagination, or discovering new possibilities in how you relate to yourself and others.
Psychotherapy is not about becoming someone else or fitting into an ideal of how life should be. It is about developing a more authentic relationship with who you are, allowing greater room for meaning, connection and a sense of aliveness in everyday life.
If you would like to explore whether working together might be appropriate, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial session.
