Working with Early Loss and the Unspoken
This includes early loss, trauma, and attachment-related experiences, including miscarriage and pre-verbal trauma.
These experiences are often deeply felt but rarely spoken about. Their impact may not always be visible, yet can influence emotional wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self.
In therapy, we work gently to:
• Process grief and emotional responses
• Understand what has been held internally
• Reduce overwhelm and confusion
• Reconnect with your own experience
There is no expectation to “move on" quickly. Therapy can provide space for experiences to be approached with care, reflection, and emotional understanding over time.
This work is particularly relevant for people navigating life between cultures, languages, identities, or systems of belonging.
Therapy is available in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
This may be helpful if you are:
• Living between cultures or countries
• Exploring identity, belonging, or family expectations
• Adjusting to life transitions in the UK or internationally
Cross-cultural experiences can sometimes bring richness and perspective, but may also involve feelings of displacement, adaptation, invisibility, or internal conflict.
Therapy offers space for these experiences to be explored with sensitivity and depth.
