Therapy sessions are confidential and held with care and respect.
There are, however, some legal and ethical limits to confidentiality. These may include situations where there is serious concern about risk of harm to yourself or others, safeguarding concerns, or where disclosure is required by law.

Online sessions take place through secure video platforms. While every effort is made to protect confidentiality online, no digital communication can be guaranteed as completely secure.
Clients are encouraged to attend sessions from a private and quiet space where they feel safe to speak freely.
I handle personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and professional ethical guidelines.
Basic contact details, session notes, and relevant clinical information are stored securely and used only for the purpose of providing therapy and maintaining professional records.
Your information is not shared with third parties without your consent unless legally or ethically required.
Brief clinical notes are kept securely in line with professional and insurance requirements. Records are retained for an appropriate period in accordance with current professional guidelines and then confidentially destroyed.
I ask for at least 72 hours’ notice (in-person sessions) or 24 hours' notice (online sessions) for cancellations or rearrangements. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full.
I am a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist and work within the ethical framework of my professional body. I hold appropriate professional insurance and engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development.
